Salary Grade:Business Grade 9/ BG-9

Position Summary: Provide technical expertise in supporting and engineering InformationTechnology (IT) infrastructure systems and services for the TPS school district. Ensureexisting IT systems meet or exceed performance targets and that sound security practices arein place. Support Systems Architecture team and Information Systems Services department inthe delivery of technology solutions that support district goals.
Minimum Qualifications:Education:
Bachelors Degree in computer science related degree or equivalent experience
Experience:
Three (3) years experience with systems and network domains
Specialized Knowledge Licenses Etc.:
Requires Information Technology industry certifications such as Microsoft 365Certified Associate Level Certifications VMWare VCP EMC EMCSA NetApp NCDAand Cisco CCNA CCNP HPE ASE or equivalent work experience
Requires strong knowledge of server planning and engineering Microsoft ActiveDirectory Microsoft Exchange VMware virtualization architecture and Storage AreaNetwork (SAN) technologies
Strong knowledge of data center HVAC UPS electrical power and spacemanagement enterprise backup/archive systems and disaster recovery planningpreferred
Requires working knowledge of firewalls Internet monitoring centralized endpointprotection management TCP/IP networking and services (DNS DHCP FTP SMTPSNMP) Virtual Private Network (VPN) and Ethernet network technologies preferred
Knowledge of Cisco routers switches wireless controllers and other infrastructurerelated backbone equipment including experience working independently withWindows Server 2016 and higher Windows 10 and higher operating systems in an
enterprise environment preferred
Prefer knowledge of Microsoft 365 PowerSchool and Tyler Munis
