As a Production Controls Specialist you will contribute to the success of the company by handling a wide range of supportive tasks with minimal supervision. Works with customer service on due dates rush orders and any other issues/requests. Work with sales on sample requests general questions and scheduling requests. An ability to blend excellent communication skills with organizational and detail orientations is key to success in this addition this person will assist with administrative tasks & projects as needed. Assemble job packets and print out all necessary paperwork you are a positive individual with the ability to blend excellent communication skills with organizational and detail orientations this is the position for you! In this role you will.

• Works with customer service on due dates rush orders and any other issues/requests.
• Work with sales on sample requests general questions and scheduling requests.
• Assists with administrative tasks & projects as needed.
• Assemble job packets and print out all necessary paperwork needed.
• Create bill of materials for orders; modify/enter part numbers as needed.
• Back-up for production leadership as needed.
• Runs back-order review reports and other reports as requested.
• Submits material demands to production manager; may order.
• Issues purchase orders for raw materials & other shop supplies.
• Coordinates new printing plate folders & plate remakes with artist.
• Double check that all components have arrived prior to running jobs.
• Update production schedule assist with scheduling jobs and coordinate with floor supervisor.
• Assist with weekly cycle count and year end audits.
• Oversee inventory of materials; monitor raw material needs and order as necessary.
• Maintain all stocking levels and quick ship agreements.
• Perform and submit all daily reports.
• Manage all QT9/ISO records.

• Background in production/manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in MS applications and ERP literacy
• Technical aptitude a plus
• Experience in/aptitude for Customer Service
• Comfort in MS applications
• Willingness to learn
• Proactive self-motivated
• Knowledge in costing
• Ability to work well with changing priorities
• Ability to work well with others & under pressure
• Knowledge of labels and applications
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods doing computer and phone work
• Assist in production if needed
