Product Advisor - Performance and Fleet Management

Kongsberg Maritime is growing and our Digital Ocean team is looking for a passionate and driven Product Advisor to join this role you will become part of our dynamic Performance and Fleet Management product line where we design and deliver digital solutions that help ship owners and operators around the world manage their fleets more safely efficiently and sustainably.

As a Product Advisor you will take ownership of one or more products or modules within our portfolio. Youll act as the bridge between our customers development teams and commercial functions. An important part of the job will be to translate user needs into product improvements and new features ensuring that our solutions remain at the forefront of maritime digitalization.

You will work closely with

• Customers and end-users to understand real-world challenges and drive product adoption.
• Cross-functional development teams to prioritize features and lead development efforts.
• Sales and marketing to position our products in the market and support commercial success.

This is a role where youll be combining business insight technical understanding and customer focus to create solutions that deliver real value in the maritime industry.

What you will be doing

• Act as product owner for one or more products or modules
• Lead and coordinate development efforts with cross-functional teams
• Support sales and marketing processes with product expertise
• Drive or support implementation projects with customers
• Interact with users to improve adoption and product value

What we think you should bring

• Experience from the maritime sector (operations technology or services)
• A curious and committed mindset eager to explore and solve problems
• A technical background within areas such as marine engineering software or digital solutions (we are open to different fields but you should be comfortable navigating technical discussions)
• A passion for creating products that deliver measurable value for customers
