This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. This temporary position is located in Kinston - Lenoir County.
The Programming Director is assigned lead responsibility for the planning and provision of program services to the individuals with intellectual disabilities who reside at Caswell Developmental Center. Specifically the Programming Director provides management and oversight of the Centers Residential Education Vocational and Psychology Services. The Programming Director ensures that the implementation of these services is done via the supervision of the Director of Residential Services Director of Psychology Director of Vocational Services and School Administrator. The Programming Director provides guidance and direction in all program areas.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $57.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services. This position is located at 2413 W Vernon Ave Kinston NC 28504.
The Programming Director serves as a resource to the Center Director and other members of the Leadership Team on policy and procedural issues related to the implementation of habilitation services and concerning the standards which guide service provision and matters affecting Center-wide operations.Knowledge Skills and Abilities / Competencies

Masters degree in human services field from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of administrative supervisory or professional level treatment programming experience with the population at the facility being served one year of which must have been in a residential program; or
Bachelors degree in a human services field from an appropriately accredited institution and five years of the above experience requirements one year of which must have been in a residential program; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; or
A clinical practitioner in one of the disciplines supervised will be acceptable (substituted for human services degree) if the candidate has had significant experience in a residential program in a setting serving people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or neuro-cognitive impairmentsSupplemental and Contact Information
