Job Summary

Primary Purpose:

Be responsible for a larger role in process optimization projects leading lean manufacturing initiatives and working independently on complex analyses to support production improvements. This mid-level role is responsible for overseeing efficiency projects collaborating with other engineers and providing technical expertise in process engineering.

Qualifications:

*** Candidates MUST HAVE 2 years experience working within a Poultry or Protein processing plant within an Industrial Engineering role. ***

Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferred)

35 years relevant experience.

Proficiency in lean manufacturing Six Sigma and process optimization tools.

AutoCAD skills.

Collaboration skills and strong teamwork skills.

Protein industry experience a must poultry manufacturing experience preferred.

Should be able to troubleshoot and re-design existing systems routinely.

Work environment includes but is not limited to a normal office environment and operations environment (processing feed mill hatchery and wastewater treatment facility).
