Scientist (Analytical Development, Cell Therapy)

Join our Cell Therapy Analytical Development team where we are at the forefront of developing and delivering cutting-edge biological assays. Our mission is to advance cell therapy products from research to commercial stages supporting their complete biological and bioanalytical characterization. We work closely with cross-functional teams including clinical regulatory QA and manufacturing to ensure seamless integration and progress from IND to BLA and beyond.

Accountabilities:

• Develop robust functional characterization and molecular analytical methods including method qualification and transfer.
• Make detailed observations analyze data interpret results and exercise appropriate technical discretion in the design execution and interpretation of experiments independently.
• Carry out sample testing to enable process and product development.
• Author/review technical reports protocols and technical summaries for presentation.
• Present and discuss experimental results at group/project team meetings.
• Work in a team-based structure and interface with research and process development departments.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Immunology Cell Biology Biological Sciences Biotechnology or related field with 5 years of relevant experience or a Masters degree in Immunology Cell Biology Biological Sciences Biotechnology or related field with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience working with CAR-T and cell therapy is required.
• Highly proficient with basic immunology techniques is required and must have extensive experience in cell-based bioassays.
• Experience in ELISAs or similar technology platforms for cytokine production.
• Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks from multiple projects to meet timelines.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience in multi-color flow cytometry is a plus.
• Experience with lab automation instruments (e.g. Hamilton TECAN) is a plus.
• Familiar with data analysis/management software (e.g. JMP or similar statistical tools) programming languages such as visual basic python C/C is a plus.
• Experience with molecular biology techniques qPCR ddPCR NGS is a plus.
• Experience qualifying and transferring cell and gene therapy analytical methods is a plus.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $80653.60 - $120980.40. However base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and addition our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles) and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).
