Job Summary

WHO YOULL WORK WITH

Youll lead a team of talented software engineers focused on delivering scalable high-impact solutions across Nikes product and consumer platforms. Youll collaborate closely with product managers architects data scientists and cross-functional engineering teams across the globe. Youll also partner with leaders in CP&I to align engineering efforts with Nikes strategic goals while mentoring and growing the next generation of engineering talent.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Were seeking a seasoned engineering leader who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment. You bring:

10 years of professional software engineering experience with deep expertise in modern backend and/or frontend technologies
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field. Will accept any combination of education experience and training.
4 years of experience leading engineering teams with a strong track record of mentorship team development hiring and software delivery
Expertise in at least one or more cloud platforms like AWS and in at least one or more software programming languages such as Typescript Python React and Node
Proven track record of successful software execution and delivery
Positivity growth mindset and a commitment to fostering an inclusive high-performing team culture
A passion for clean architecture scalable systems and continuous improvements
Experience working in agile environments and driving engineering best practices

WHAT YOULL WORK ON

As a Software Engineering Manager in CP&I you will:

Lead and grow a team of engineers responsible for building and maintaining critical services and platforms.
Drive technical excellence and operational rigor across the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with product and design teams to define and deliver innovative solutions that meet business and user needs.
Champion engineering best practices including CI/CD automated testing observability and performance optimization.
Foster a culture of learning inclusion and continuous improvement.
