Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Resources and Operations (DRO) in the Lucas College and Graduate School of Business the Administrative Analyst independently provides a broad range of administrative technical and analytical duties of moderate to high complexity. The Analyst will also work at the direction of the Associate Dean of Undergraduate & Graduate Programs on college level assigned tasks.
Working with the Director of SJSU Online this position has responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the LCoB SJSU Online program. The LCoB SJSU Online Program Analyst is responsible for the appointment of program faculty; administrative tasks associated with faculty recruitment and evaluation; manages and tracks the program budget; inputs the class schedules; tracks enrollment; collaborates with all LCoB Staff as needed to plan program events; handles confidential information for faculty and students; distributes information to students faculty and the general public. They serve as a liaison for the LCoB SJSU Online Program to other campus entities: Office of Academic Innovation and Online Initiatives; College of Professional and Global Education (CPGE); University Personnel; Faculty Services; Registrars Office; Financial Aid; and San Jose State Research Foundation and Tower Foundation.
The incumbent is also responsible for administrating the paperwork for the School of Global Innovation & Leadership budget financial personnel hiring and workload tracking academic course building and scheduling and special and general activities of the department. This position manages the day-to-day operation of the department including training coordinating and overseeing any staff and student assistants as applicable.
