Are you ready to bring your expertise to a thriving company where creativity innovation and problem-solving shape every project A leader in high-quality architectural millwork for 50 years is seeking a passionate and results-driven Production Engineer to join our team. Based in the mid-Atlantic area we specialize in creating unique spaces in commercial buildings and are proud to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

What Youll Do
As a Production Engineer youll work with project management and production teams to create high quality deliverables designed to optimize company throughput and drive contribution margin. You will use your engineering experience to create 3D models in Cabinet Vision associated documents and release them for fabrication. Your key responsibilities will include:

Develop 3D models of millwork items in Cabinet Vision. This may include cabinets countertops diewalls banquettes and basic panels.
Process these models through the Cabinet Vision S2M center.
Create assembly and machine documentation to be used by machine operators and shop floor workers.
Self-review your work before submitting for review by others.
Be a self-starter and curious. Ask questions early about things youre unsure about.
Work with the Lead Production Engineer to develop and maintain the product library. Add and/or modify items as necessary.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
A successful candidate will value urgency accuracy and streamlined coordination as measured by:

You will be expected to process work orders that will have an approximate revenue level of $3M.
Contribution to gross margin via efficient processing of work orders. This will be tracked by using estimated/planned hours vs. actual hours.
Ability to develop complex items and add them to the library as necessary.
Ability to recognize and implement batches to optimize both material yield and machine time.

What Were Looking For
To thrive in this role youll need:

Minimum of 3 years Cabinet Vision Core and S2M experience in the millwork industry.
Working knowledge & experience of material machine and tool limitations.
Experience in collaborating with PMs and Production Managers to solve problems. Be solutions oriented.
Experience with Cabinet Vision submittals and other engineering platforms (Rhino Solidworks) is a plus but not required.
Knowledge of AWI standards and specifications.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills (MS Office Word Excel etc.)
Knowledge of Innergy is beneficial.
