Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacy Technician IV Compounding

Stipend: $784
W2: $ 14.15

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Variable Day/PM Shifts
Weekend/Holiday: Every Other Weekend and Holiday Rotation

Float Requirements: May be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations as needed
On-Call/Callback: None

Required Certifications & Licenses:

Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB/ChT) Required
Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician License Required

Minimum Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of IV room experience specifically including hazardous drug/chemotherapy compounding and TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) preparation.
Prior experience in a fast-paced high-volume inpatient pharmacy or hospital setting.
Familiarity with compounding software (Abacus Baxa Repeater Pump Simplifi/SoleSource) highly beneficial.

Charting Experience:

Proficient in EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Unit Specific Skills:

Pyxis medication management system
Cleanroom and sterile compounding environments
Strong understanding of sterile techniques in a fast-paced healthcare setting
