Job Summary

Role: Java/J2EE Services Senior/Lead Developer

Location: Jersey City NJ (Onsite)

Type: Contract

In-person interview with the client is mandatory.

Seeking a seasoned Java/J2EE developer to lead web-service development and integration efforts within a dynamic banking environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in building scalable web services using Spring Boot integrating RESTful APIs and delivering secure high-performance solutions aligned with financial industry standards.

Day to Day job Duties:

Design and develop enterprise-grade services using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot
Lead API integration initiatives across internal and external banking systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance performance and scalability
Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions
Drive innovation in digital banking solutions through agile development practices

Basic Qualifications:

Atleast 10 years of experience in Java/J2EE Spring Boot and RESTful API development
10 years of Experience in banking or financial services domain - specific to payment processing like ACH and Wire.
10 years of Experience in working large scale multi-tier transaction based platforms.
10 years of Solid understanding of security performance tuning and service orchestration
10 years of Experience in working on agile and service-oriented architecture
10 years of Hands on experience in working applications with Openshift platforms

Degree:

Bachelors in Computer Science/IT related degree or equivalent work experience
