Join Our Team as a Senior Linux System Engineer!

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated professional to join us as a Senior Linux System Engineer driving the development and optimization of our server and service infrastructure both on-premise and in the cloud. - Ensure the smooth and reliable operation of the Drooms platform and supporting infrastructure
- Manage and optimize Linux-based systems across on-premise and cloud environments
- Operate and further develop infrastructure automation systems (e.g. Puppet Ansible)
- Support infrastructure as code initiatives using configuration management and automation tools
- Monitor and maintain system reliability performance and security
- Manage networking components and ensure connectivity and availability
- Support DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows (e.g. GitLab or similar)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure and support product development
- Maintain clear and up-to-date system documentation SOPs and architectural diagrams
Your Profile
- 7 years of experience in Linux systems administration
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation (Ansible Puppet Terraform etc.)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
- Familiarity with networking administration and troubleshooting
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of data systems and tools is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on operational excellence
- Very good knowledge of German (at least C1) and fluent English our daily working language
