**Core Duties for Nurse Practitioner (NP):**
- Provide a full range of healthcare services based on the permissions given by the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). This includes checking and treating patients for regular check-ups urgent issues and long-term health problems. Also give vaccinations and offer advice to patients when needed.
- Lead and teach other healthcare staff give education sessions based on good evidence and take part in training for staff members.
- Identify and treat patients with common short-term illnesses long-lasting health issues or minor injuries following approved guidelines and working with a doctor when necessary.
- Encourage prevention and health maintenance. This includes conducting yearly health check-ups and promoting healthy behaviors through group sessions and individual support.
- Work with different people to share healthcare plans educate patients and families and improve the organizations services.
- Identify illnesses that need isolation and make sure to follow safety practices during all patient encounters.
- Attend team meetings to discuss cases receive ongoing training and improve quality and safety in healthcare.
**Minimum Qualifications:**-
**Education:** A Masters degree in Nursing for Nurse Practitioners from a recognized program.- **Experience:**
At least 2 years of experience in a primary care setting within the last 3 years.
- **License:** An active unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.-
**Board Certification:
** Certification from ANCC or AANP for Nurse Practitioner or another recognized nursing certification organization for the specialty area such as pediatric nursing or womens health.-
**Life Support Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross is required.- **Security:** Must pass a government background check and get a government security clearance.
