Job Summary
Job Title: CT Technologist Contract Assignment
Location: Brooklyn NY 11234
Hours: Full-Time 37.5 hours weekly
Schedule: MondayFriday 10am6pm (Training 8am4pm)
Role Description
An established healthcare facility is seeking a CT Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services on a contract basis. This position requires technical expertise patient care skills and experience across CT X-ray and bone density studies.
Duties & Responsibilities
Use imaging protocols to obtain accurate CT scans.
Complete daily equipment checks and quality testing.
Administer contrast and radiopharmaceutical agents following protocols.
Record documentation in logs manuals and compliance systems.
Monitor radiation use and comply with ALARA safety standards.
Prepare and deliver patient data for radiology review.
Verify and manage radiopharmaceutical orders and doses.
Support patients with professionalism and empathy throughout their visit.
Job Requirements
Degree from a Radiologic Technologist program.
Current NY State Radiologic Technologist License.
ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT.
Valid BLS Certification.
Minimum 1 year of CT experience.
Additional experience in X-ray and bone density preferred.
