Job Summary
Join a busy manufacturing team as a Production Operative specialising in fuel tank production. This hands-on role involves using equipment and machinery following technical instructions and maintaining high standards of safety and quality in every task. Fixed and permanent contracts available.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate safely and follow all health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Maintain clean and tidy work areas.
- Read understand and work from technical drawings SOPs and process specifications.
- Operate RF welders and use adhesives/lacquer to bond components.
- Prepare fit lacquer and stencil tanks including data recording tasks.
- Perform manual tasks: lifting marking up fitting and assembling components for production.
- Strip and rebuild jigs formers and related equipment as required.
- Work efficiently as part of a production team.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing production or similar hands-on environments preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Good manual dexterity and physical capability for handling materials/machinery.
- Able to follow complex instructions and technical documents.
- Reliable punctual and team-minded.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn new skills.
- Full-time site-based role Monday to Thursday 07:3016:15; Fridays 07:3016:00
