Hours: Flexible schedule (Monday-Friday) hours between 7 am and 6 pm. Some evenings holidays and weekends may be required to support operations and to respond to emergencies.

Friendship Place offers the most effective model for addressing homelessness with innovative customized programs that have positive demonstrable results and a lasting impact on the community and beyond. Our programs are person-centric and individualized to meet the needs and goals of individuals families youth/young adults and Veterans experiencing homelessness. Summary: This position reports to Assistant Director. This position will supervise the Employment Specialist Community Resource Specialist Health Care Navigator and Staff Attorney & Benefits Specialist. The Project Coordinator will conduct in office one on one supervision to ensure that best practices are being used participant-centeredness is being exhibited and to provide quality assurance in grant compliance and implementation. The Project Coordinator will also support day-to-day logistics for veteran needs that fall outside of their direct supervisory duties. The Project Coordinator will work to empower low-income Veteran Families in DC Arlington Alexandria Loudoun Prince William Fairfax Montgomery Frederick Prince Georges Washington Anne Arundel Howard Allegany Carroll and Garrett counties to become stably housed.

Education and Experience:
Physical & Environmental Requirements: The role requires a balance of office-based tasks and fieldwork including travel throughout the service area to meet with households as well as participating in meetings and engagements with key stakeholders.
At least 50% of the time will be spent in an office setting must be able to sit and work at a computer for prolonged periods up to 50% will be spent working in the field with supervising case managers working with participants attending community events and attending CoC meetings.
Background Checks: The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check and/or fingerprinting including CFSA NSO previous employment and education verification personal and professional references TB test a UDS and clearance from the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Specific Requirements: Positions requiring travel must have reliable access to personal transportation to fulfill job duties. The vehicle must meet all legal requirements including valid registration and current auto insurance. Employees must provide the employer with current copies of their valid drivers license and proof of insurance as a condition of employment.
Additionally employees are required to notify the employer and provide updated documentation within a legally appropriate timeframe if there are any changes to their drivers license status or insurance coverage.

Compensation: The hiring pay range is between $63506.00 - $69000.00. The starting annual salary is based on a step system. A candidates starting pay determination is made based on meeting the basic position requirements and current completed education credentials and work experience. Please Note: The step system is set and not open to pay negotiation.
