Overview
Supports the development and execution of marketing strategies aimed at promoting the Dartmouth Cancer Center an organizational priority. Key components of that support include research the creation of marketing collateral and content development. The Marketing Coordinator may also be responsible for managing processes with outside vendors tracking project progress across functional partners and creative solutions to fill service line promotional needs.
Responsibilities
- Supports strategy development through the execution of research including competitive landscapes market trends and target audiences.
- Evaluates and monitors campaign performance on an ongoing basis.
- Tracks and manages the progress of strategic initiatives.
- Oversees the development production and editing of promotional materials including print digital and social media.
- Supports the distribution of creative content through the appropriate channels.
- Works with cross-functional departments (e.g. Creative Productions Digital Services) and outside vendors (e.g. advertising agencies freelancers printers etc) to ensure project objectives are clear and work is completed effectively and efficiently.
- Works with other C&M staff to monitor and guide the appropriate execution of brand identity in all media formats: print electronic collateral material vehicles and facilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree with 3 years of related experience in health care public relations or marketing or the equivalent required.
- Excellent customer services and communications skills are a must along with strong interpersonal and organizational skills creativity maturity flexibility diplomacy and the ability to work as part of a team.
- The ability to multi-task work under minimal supervision and be able to meet deadlines while being accurate and attentive to details is essential.
