Qualifications
Candidate must currently reside in Texas.
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (CPA CMA or MBA preferred).
Minimum 57 years of progressive accounting or finance experience with at least 2 years supervising or leading a team of accountants.
Strong knowledge of GAAP budgeting forecasting and financial reporting.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks NetSuite or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent organizational analytical and leadership skills.
Strong communication abilities and a collaborative mindset in a remote-first environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of accountants to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.
Oversee accounts payable accounts receivable payroll reconciliations and general ledger activities.
Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
Manage budgeting forecasting and cash flow planning processes.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and state/federal financial regulations.
Coordinate annual audits and work closely with external auditors and tax advisors.
Develop and improve internal controls accounting policies and financial procedures.
Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Support special projects including software implementation or financial process optimization.
Compensation and Benefits
$85000 $110000 yearly salary depending on experience and qualifications.
