About the Role

Elastic the Search AI company is seeking a proactive and data-driven Go-to-Market (GTM) Business Analyst to join the Sales Program this role you will be integral to the success of our sales initiatives providing critical analysis and insights that drive our sales performance and impact our revenue pipeline. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level analyst to work with complex data and influence key business decisions. Candidates must be based in or near Barcelona Spain and be able to come into our hub office as needed.

What You Will Do

  • Develop Executive-Level Reporting: Build and deliver compelling presentations that tell a clear story with data distilling complex information into actionable insights for senior leaders across the company
  • Lead Dashboard Development: Collaborate with our data team to build maintain and improve our existing dashboards ensuring they are accurate user-friendly and provide impactful insights
  • Identify Strategic Opportunities: Proactively identify and recommend strategic opportunities to improve pipeline health and accelerate revenue growth. You will use a combination of data analysis and natural curiosity to drive these insights
  • Key Resource for Insights: Be the go-to person for questions related to program performance sales metrics and pipeline health

What You Will Bring

  • Experience: 3-5 years as a Business Analyst or Analyst preferably in a sales-supporting role within a B2B SaaS or technology company. Hands-on experience with Salesforce and analyzing sales pipeline data is required
  • Technical Skills: Highly proficient in SQL Advanced Excel and Google Sheets for data extraction modeling and analysis. Experience developing professional executive-level reports and presentation sin Google Slides is a strong plus!
  • Data Storytelling & Insights: A strong understanding of sales pipeline stages and key sales metrics is a must including being able to identify what constitutes a healthy pipeline extract meaningful insights and tell a compelling story with the data
  • Problem-Solving & Curiosity: A natural desire to dig deep into data to uncover the why behind trends and find opportunities to drive incremental revenue for Elastic
  • Communication: A consistent track record of translating complex datasets into a concise data-driven narrative that drives strategic decisions and aligns stakeholders across the business
  • Education: A degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Business Finance or Economics) or equivalent practical experience with a proven strong analytical track record is required
