Our Sacramento-based client is seeking a meticulous and strategic Senior Staff Accountant to reconcile accounts for multi-entities (non-revenue generating entities) . This newly created opportunity is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working on accounting transaction for smaller organizations and collaborating with corporate accounting team . The organization offers an exceptionally generous benefits package including four weeks of paid time off a highly competitive retirement plan and comprehensive health coverage. This position follows a hybrid work schedule requiring three days onsite in Sacramento with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
Salary: $75K to $80K (DOE).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and analyze bank reconciliations and journal entries
- Assist with accounts payable and expense reports.
- Communicate with multiple division contacts to retrieve financial information.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to ensure financial transparency and efficiency
- Identify process improvements and contribute to process improvement.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field
- Minimum 2 years of progressive accounting experience ideally in nonprofit muti-entity environment.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks MS Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills
