Job Summary
If you are an engineering or interface design student looking for an opportunity to grow Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based at our Eden Prairie MN location you will get the opportunity to work as a UX Designer Co-Op on a team that will help you to grow and develop as a design engineer.
AS A USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER CO-OP YOU WILL:
- Work with software engineers to design utilities proof of concept software and product code in support of product development projects.
- Support and assist with the cloud development team.
- Work with cross-functional engineering teams
- Discover and explore new interests in your field prior to graduation.
- Apply learned technical skills from the classroom toreal world engineering projects.

REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in UX Design Graphic Design Information Design or Software Engineering (Junior or Senior status preferred)
- Zero (0) years of related experience
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) in-person(Eden Prairie MN)
Jan-Aug 2026 - Legal authorization to work in the United States
PREFERRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Knowledge of Figma Storybook and Lucid

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary within the local market in which we operate and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The starting salary for this role is $21.00-31.00 an hour commensurate with the skills talent capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
