Job Summary

Job Summary:
The Legal Executive will provide legal advisory manage contracts and ensure compliance with regulations governing marine customs logistics and telecommunications operations. This role requires strong knowledge of corporate law contracts and industry-specific compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft review and negotiate contracts with vendors partners and regulators.
Ensure compliance with maritime law port authority guidelines customs regulations and MCMC licensing rules.
Advise on corporate governance matters for holdings and subsidiaries.
Handle disputes litigation processes and liaise with external legal counsel.
Maintain legal documentation licenses and statutory filings.
Provide legal guidance on business expansion mergers or acquisitions.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent.
At least 2 years of legal practice or in-house counsel experience.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian corporate commercial and employment law.
Familiarity with marine/shipping or telco law will be a significant advantage.
Excellent research drafting and negotiation skills.

Preferred Skills:

Strong communication skills to liaise with government and regulatory agencies.
Ability to handle multi-jurisdictional legal matters.
