Director Of Project ManagementLocation: Bozeman MT 59718Job Description:The Director of Project Management at Zoot plays a pivotal role in overseeing and providing direction to the Project Management team in order to support Zoots Corporate Strategic Plan and annual goals. Reporting to the COO the Director of Project Management is a visionary collaborative leader who merges technical and creative expertise into each aspect of their position. Responsibilities include overseeing the strategic planning and execution of all Zoot projects providing high-level direction to project managers ensuring that projects align with overall Zoot objectives and managing the project management function including resource allocation risk mitigation and performance tracking across projects. Essential Job Functions:- Leadership: Serve others by inspiring and motivating Zooters with a clear vision and shared goals and by adapting their leadership style based on the needs of the team and projects. Create and uphold a team culture that rewards high-performance with focus on improvement accountability and cross-functional communication
- Strategic Planning: Provide strategic direction and execution strategies that steer projects to successful completion. Implement project management methodologies standards and best practices to align projects with organizational goals.
- Project Portfolio Oversight: Oversee the portfolio of projects prioritize initiatives and coordinate resource management to equip projects with the team members needed to be successful. Mitigate risk across projects and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs to track project progress proactively identify issues and relentlessly pursue company goals and client standards. Empower team members to fulfill new and existing projects and celebrate team accomplishments across the organization. Host Project Status meetings bi-weekly to update each projects status identify resource needs and see projects through to completion.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the linchpin between the team and stakeholders driving current and future platform projects to completion on time every time.
- Education Training and Experience Requirements:
Education Training and Experience Requirements: - High School Diploma
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing Business or related field required.
- 5-7 years of experience in related field. Management experience preferred
Physical Requirements: All positions at Zoot require the ability to move about inside an office environment which includes the operation of computers and other office productivity machinery and frequently communicates with other employees clients vendors and visitors. This position specifically requires long periods of sitting at a computer workstation.
Working Conditions Work Hours Location: This position will take place primarily in an office setting. It is expected that employees and specifically this position regularly and consistently report to work on-site at Zoots headquarters and work between 40-45 hours per week. This will include working during Zoots Core Hours which are between 9am-4pm Mountain Time Monday-Friday. This position may require travel. Occasional nighttime and weekend work is required within the position.
