Overview
Rehabilitation Technician
UnityPoint Health - Fort Dodge
FTE: 0.6 (Part-time 24 hours per week)
Shift: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30pm every 5th weekend

Responsibilities
- Assists therapists in patient preparation and treatment
- Ongoing commitment to reducing costs and improving productivity in the rehabilitation department.
- Maintains positive relationships with the health care team patient and family
- Completes clerical/secreterial functions within the clinic as requested
Qualifications
Education:
High School Education or GED
Experience:
Entry level/new graduate acceptable
Skills/Abilities:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of computer concepts
- Ability to meet time frames for work completion
- Effective skills for teamwork
- Able to read and understand patient care instructions
Certification/Course:
Maintain Basic Life Support certification
