Job Summary

A reputable automotive company is looking for a Skilled Mechanic with strong technical expertise as a qualified vehicle mechanic to join their team in Cape Town Western Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support in the workshop ensuring quality repairs and mentoring junior staff where needed.

Responsibilities:

Conduct advanced diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
Ensure all work meets quality safety and compliance standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
Collaborate with workshop management to improve efficiency and productivity.
Keep accurate records of all repair and maintenance work performed.
Stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies and repair methods.
Assist in maintaining a clean organized and safe workshop environment.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years proven experience as a qualified vehicle mechanic.
Relevant trade qualification/certification as a Motor Mechanic.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
