Overview
Monterey Park Hospital a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Telemetry Unit. This is a full-time 12-hour day shift position reporting to the Director of Telemetry.
Responsibilities
The Telemetry RN provides care treatment counseling and health education to the hospitalized patient. The RN is responsible for planning and coordination of care across the continuum. This planning and coordination includes meeting and exceeding compliance with core measures contributes to reduction in LOS active participation with all aspects of quality safety and performance improvement activities collaboration with all the members of the multidisciplinary team in providing outstanding customer service to patients family members physicians and the public. Meets and exceeds CDPH The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- BSN preferred.
- New graduates welcome new graduate program offered - or six months of recent experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Current CA RN license required.
- Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) required.
- EKG certifiction required.
