**Job Description:

The position involves providing specialized neonatal care in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with an average daily census of 17 patients.
Responsibilities include managing care for over 400 NICU admissions each year and participating in a combination schedule that comprises both 24-hour in-house coverage and 10-hour day shifts.
The practitioner will deliver advanced neonatal services which include High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV) nitric oxide therapy and therapeutic cooling.
Collaboration with a team of seven neonatologists within a well-established practice is essential.
Additionally the individual will engage in teaching and mentoring observational students and work within a regional perinatal center that facilitates approximately 4000 deliveries annually.
A multidisciplinary approach to neonatal care is to be supported with close collaboration with obstetric and pediatric teams being crucial.
**Qualifications:**
Candidates must be Board Eligible (within five years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatologythis requirement is non-negotiable.
A medical license in New Jersey or a willingness to obtain such a license is mandatory. Relevant experience as a Neonatologist is required; candidates should include their years of experience in the additional notes section.
A clean malpractice and license history is highly preferred.
It is essential to note whether the provider currently resides in the area or is willing to relocate; this should be indicated in the
Additional Submission Details section. Furthermore it is necessary for the candidate to obtain a DEA prior to commencement of employment as well as a CSR/CDS both of which are required without exemptions.
