We are currently seeking experienced MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Cardiology In this role you will play a crucial part in providing specialized medical care to patients with heart conditions. Your expertise will be instrumental in diagnosing treating and managing various cardiac issues ensuring the well-being of our patients.
As a Cardiologist you will be involved in cutting-edge cardiology projects utilizing the latest advancements in medical technology and research. Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough patient consultations and medical examinations
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as ECGs echocardiograms and stress tests
- Developing comprehensive treatment plans for patients with heart conditions
- Performing interventional procedures including angioplasty and stent placement
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
- Monitoring and managing patients in critical care settings
- Providing patient education on heart disease prevention and management
- Participating in research studies and clinical trials related to cardiology
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Cardiology
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Cardiologist
- Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating various cardiac conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9-hour day shifts
1:5 shared call rotation
Cases: General interventional cardiology high-risk Impella (R) supported procedures and structural cardiology (percutaneous PFO/ASD closure)
Full support staff available
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
