Description
We are currently seeking MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Pulmonology a leading staffing and recruiting this role you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients with respiratory system disorders. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality care and improving the overall health of our patients. You will be involved in a variety of projects focused on respiratory health lung diseases and critical care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with respiratory issues.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with pulmonary conditions.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests and imaging studies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of Pulmonology.
- Educate patients and their families about respiratory health disease prevention and treatment options.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in medical records.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Pulmonologist.
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing pulmonary conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p
Call shifts required
Setting: 100% outpatient
Patient Census: 20-30 per day
Cases: Sick visits chronic lung disease management pulmonary function testing sleep studies smoking cessation bronchoscopies pulmonary rehabilitation valley fever and non-tuberculosis mycobacterium
Support Staff: 3 MDs 2 NPs Rts LCSWs LPNs MAs
EMR: AthenaHealth
Must be board-certified
