Position Title: APS4 Grants Administration Support Officer
Location: Canberra ACT
Employment Type: Labour Hire
Employment Period: 12-month contract with potential extension
Security Clearance: Baseline Clearance Required
Hourly Pay Rate: $47 to $50 p/h super - pending experience
About the Role
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Grants Administration Support Officer to provide operational and administrative support in the delivery of government-funded grant programs. This role will work closely with program teams to ensure compliance with policies accurate record-keeping and timely processing of grant-related documentation. You will also play a key role in establishing and refining processes and procedures to support effective grants administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to grants management teams.
- Assist in the assessment processing and monitoring of grant applications.
- Set up and document new processes procedures and workflows to improve program efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records databases and reporting systems in line with departmental requirements.
- Prepare correspondence briefing material and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with program guidelines.
- Respond to enquiries from stakeholders and provide accurate information in a timely manner.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in grants administration program support or government administration.
- Demonstrated ability to set up and improve processes procedures and workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data management systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be an Australian Citizen with Baseline clearance.
