The System Verification department is composed of several teams with the common goals of testing verifying and informing design decisions for our Audio-Video products. You will join the Design Verification Test (DVT) team which is responsible for performing instrumental audio and video image quality assessments in our specialized lab facilities.

The team you will be part of:

You will become part of a team of 12 other people who across Denmark and China makes sure that the Jabra products are always thoroughly tested and verified. Many of your colleagues are experienced and you will get to learn and grow with their help.

Based within the Audio DVT Team you will work in a in a highly optimized test team with modern workflows tools and processes. Your primary responsibility will be to perform Audio Tests in our advanced Audio Lab facilities. This is a task that requires consistency and methodology in order to set up and supervise automated test workflows on specific product configurations

Your contribution is appreciated and you will:

  • Maintain calibrate and troubleshoot test equipment and setups

  • Conduct pre-specified Audio Tests on specific product configurations

  • Deliver test reports

  • Maintain a tidy lab environment and test sample inventory system

  • Contribute to Test Sequence optimizations automations and debugging through our version-controlled Git repository

  • Assist development engineers in complex assignments

Your role could also involve conducting image quality tests in our Video Test facilities. Training and guidance will be provided by our experienced Test Engineers.

Although this is a 12 months fixed-term contract we recognize abilities and effort. There could likely be opportunities for permanent roles in the future either within our organization or through the professional connections you build here.

To perform well in the role we imagine that you:

  • Hold a Technical Bachelors or Masters degree in Acoustic Engineering Audio Engineering or similar relevant qualification. Experience in Video / Image Quality Engineering will also be considered

  • Have experience with practical laboratory work covering acoustic testing from previous work or university projects

  • Have some experience with scripting and programming with Python or similar relevant experience

  • Might have experience with GIT version control

  • Might have Experience with SQL databases

  • Are capable of proficiently managing and arranging your time according to the tasks available on a daily basis

  • Can communicate fluently in English spoken ad written
