Critical Care Respiratory Therapist
Location: Various locations across NJ
Shift: 6:45 PM 7:00 AM 3 x 12 hr shifts/week
Duration: 13 Weeks (extension probable)
Job Summary:NavitasHealthcare LLCis seekingRRTfor an exciting Travel and/or Local job.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage mechanical ventilation and provide advanced airway support in critical care settings.
Assist during emergency procedures and participate in patient resuscitation efforts.
Monitor respiratory equipment and perform diagnostic testing as required.
Assess patients pulmonary status and tailor treatment interventions accordingly.
Facilitate communication between patients families and healthcare providers.
Document care delivery in compliance with institutional standards.
Uphold safety infection control and organizational policies.
Meet physical demands such as standing for long periods and handling equipment.
Required Skills:
Resilience in high-acuity units and ability to prioritize in fast-paced environments.
Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Comfortable floating to ICU intermediate and general medical floors.
