Communications Manager

The Ford Motor Credit Company team helps put people behind the wheels of great Ford and Lincoln vehicles. By partnering with dealerships we provide financing personalized service and professional expertise to five thousand dealers and more than four million customers in over one hundred countries around the world.

In this position

This role is responsible for the internal and external communications for Ford Credits North American business and global corporate functions as well as the major transformation projects globally. This role also leads major employee communications efforts including global town halls and provides support for CEO communications.

This role requires at least 4 days onsite in Dearborn MI.

What youll do

• Communications support for these teams: Ford Credit North America Transformation Bank Risk Finance Legal & Compliance HR. Services include strategic communications executive counsel internal communications content creation speechwriting event planning video production and media relations.
• Delivery of headquarters-based internal communications including quarterly global town halls headquarters newsletter CEO internal communications and major employee events.
• Communications counsel and messaging for teams handling stakeholder outreach for emerging issues special projects and more.
• Oversight of corporate governance processes for the communications team including purchasing budget forecasting and internal controls.
• Ensure alignment and integration with the following Ford Communications teams: corporate communications Ford Pro communications content creation and employee communications.

Youll have

• Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in communications journalism or public relations particularly in content creation internal communications and corporate communications
