This position is based out of Saskatoon SK for a 2026 Co-op beginning in January 2026 and will last approximately 8-12 months depending on candidate availability with the expected ending of the Co-op in late August or early September.

What you will do:

  • Work with the Corporate Environmental Operations team supporting our Global Environmental Management organization and network of Potash mines in Saskatchewan and New Brunswick on all environmental matters including permitting and compliance tailings management management systems and sustainability. Travel to sites may be required.
  • Duties include reviewing existing and/or proposed regulatory and corporate requirements in permits Acts Regulations standards and guidelines and advising site operations on appropriate actions related to the management of water resources air emissions waste (hazardous non-hazardous tailings brine) greenhouse gas emissions environmental incidents etc.
  • Duties will also include participation in environmental audits/assessments and work on projects related decommissioning and reclamation planning brine and tailings management environmental remediation and compliance reporting.

What you will bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year Environmental Engineering/Science degree or equivalent related program with a graduation date of August 2026 or later
