Our Advisory team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented experienced property valuer based in Canberra to support the continued growth of our valuation advisory capability.Job Description
As an experienced Property Valuer within our Canberra-based team you will apply your core valuation expertise across a diverse range of strategic advisory engagements. This role offers the opportunity topivot beyond traditional valuationinto broader consulting work that supports complex decision-making across government institutional and private sectors. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering timely and accurate valuation advice for various purposes including acquisitions disposals business case development grant funding submissions and compensation assessments.
Translating valuation insights into strategic recommendations that inform planning investment and policy decisions.
Engaging directly with Canberra-based clients conducting market research preparing reports and responding to requests for proposals.
Supporting the development of deep expertise within the team across multiple real estate sectors and markets.
Collaborating with colleagues across Cushman & Wakefield to deliver integrated value-add advisory services and build long-term trust-based client relationships.
About You
Were looking for a driven and collaborative professional who brings a passion for property and a commitment to excellence. You will ideally have:
Translating valuation insights into strategic recommendations that inform planning investment and policy decisions.
Relevant tertiary qualifications with a minimum of 3 years experience as a Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) and API membership.
Exposure to a variety of asset classes and a solid understanding of core valuation methodologies.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
