Were seeking a dynamic Finance Manager who will be the financial architect behind our music departments success turning complex royalty data into strategic insights that power our global entertainment ecosystem.
Key job responsibilities
- Create comprehensive royalty estimates and revenue forecasts for music catalog
- Design and maintain sophisticated financial dashboards and tracking mechanisms
- Collaborate across Business Affairs Legal Accounting and Production teams to ensure precise financial reporting
- Identify and implement process improvements that streamline music finance operations
- Manage complex financial tracking for soundtrack revenues publishing administration and third-party obligations

About the team
Our Music Finance team is a collaborative powerhouse dedicated to pushing the boundaries of entertainment finance. Were not just tracking numbers; were creating financial strategies that support ground-breaking musical content across global platforms. Your work will directly impact how we discover develop and distribute musical experiences worldwide.
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting business economics or a related analytical field (e.g. engineering math computer science)
- 5 years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- 4 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
- MBA or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
