The Lead Software Development Engineer will be responsible to develop and enhance the features in Grundfos applications for controllers pumps and drives to ensure that we continue having world class products by developing embedded software in close collaboration with the other developers and using our common software platform. Taking the lead in the team by providing the solutions and architecture of our software using extensive experience in guiding colleagues and lean out towards other parts of the development organization to ensure the integrated of our software. Role model focused on team delivery and cross-functional collaboration with a good agile mindset and the ability to mature the team agility.

What is the job about

• Design and development of different embedded SW for product applications as a part of Product development team and ensure it is working as expected.
• Business requirement analysis and define SW requirements.
• Develop the architecture of our product software and ensure alignment with the platform work with the Product Owner
• Define & build end to end solutions from a system perspective and support System integration in collaboration with Digital Development IS A&M.
• Unit test development and test of new software and products to the full value chain
• Quality improvement on existing software bug fixing and test
• Reach out to colleagues mentor & guide them so the development process is enhanced as well as the products are becoming more innovative

• Contribute to enhancements of existing reference architecture and framework

Your background

• Experience of 15 years of relevant work experience after formal degree ofB.E/ B. Tech M.E/ (Electronics Background)
• Expert in developing and implementing architecture in embedded SW applications for industrial applications
• Embedded concepts at SW as well HW levels.
• Expert inEmbedded C
• Prior experience in defining solutions for electro-mechanical systems with hydraulics.
• Good Experience in Control systems preferably with knowledge in MATLAB
• Experience in usage and integration of sensors like temperature pressure etc
• Structured modularized development and testing for different embedded software components like
• RTOS (eCos Threadx) memory etc.
• Communication drivers and protocols e.g. RS232 RS485 I2C SPI etc.
• MCU architectures 16 & 32 bitPreferably Renesas
• Exposure to fieldbus protocols like Modbus Bacnet CAN etc
• Embedded environment - IAR
• Knowledge & work exposure to wireless technologies e.g. Wifi Bluetooth.
• Emulators OCD and other tools.
• Hardware debugging and testing (Peripherals schematic reading oscilloscope Multi-meter etc).
• Documentation.
• User level understanding and knowledge with hands on work experience.
• SW testing tools at unit CPPUnit.
• Any continuous integration tool. Preferably Jenkins.
• Any version control tool. Preferably GIT
• Experience with software development of display products.
• Experience with test automation of display products.
• Experience with Python language.
