Job Summary
Job Title: Digital Product Owner AI
Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Digital Product Owner to lead the development and optimization of digital AI products that drive customer engagement and business value. This role acts as the bridge between Product Management and Agile development teams ensuring that product vision is translated into actionable user stories and delivered with excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers to understand the product vision strategy and roadmap. Partner with Agile development teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
- User Story Creation: Translate product requirements from the Product Manager Designer or Business stakeholder into clear concise user stories with acceptance criteria. This includes identifying the edge cases not thought about from Product Management.
- Sprint Planning & Execution: Participate in sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives to guide development and ensure timely delivery.
- Timelines: Ability to define monitor and communicate timeline commitments to leadership based on current state analysis.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate progress risks and dependencies to stakeholders. Gather feedback to continuously improve the product.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics and user feedback to inform prioritization and product enhancements.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure features meet quality standards and user expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science or related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
- 5-9 years experience as a business analysts or project manager as part of an agile development team
- 1-3 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within Agile environments.
- Experience and understanding of AI technologies including workflow of AI chatbots and agentic solutions
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including UX/UI engineering and QA.
- Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira Confluence and product analytics platforms.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in digital product development especially in web or mobile platforms.
- Certification in Product Ownership (e.g. CSPO) or Agile methodologies.
- Ability to balance technical constraints with business priorities.
