Technical Lead (Front-end Technologies)

Position Summary

We are looking for passionate and motivated Front-End Technical Lead with strong expertise in and hands-on exposure to a wide range of front-end technologies. In this role you will provide technical leadership architectural guidance and mentorship while driving the design and delivery of scalable performant and user-centric applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the technical roadmap and ensure engineering excellence across the front-end stack. You will be responsible for building high-performing scalable and responsive web applications that deliver an exceptional user this role you will design develop and maintain complex high-performance web applications provide technical mentoring to the team and help drive best practices in coding architecture and software development processes.

Under direct supervision assists in designing developing testing debugging web application with robust backend and intuitive frontend components software tools and utilities required for the operation maintenance and control of computer systems. Assists in modifying existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations and maintains program libraries and technical documentation.

Must have:

• 10 of experience in front-end development with at least 2 years in a lead/architect role.
• 45 years of professional experience in front-end development ( required).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6) HTML5 CSS3 SASS/LESS and related web technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Redux (or Context API) Hooks and React Router.
• Knowledge of any other JS framework like Angular Backbone etc.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs integration.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of front-end architecture state management and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs GraphQL and micro-frontend architectures.
• Knowledge of Testing frameworks (Jest React Testing Library Cypress).
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of responsive design accessibility (WCAG/ARIA standards) cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with modern build pipelines and tools (Webpack Babel npm/yarn).
• Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills
• Experience in code refactoring quality improvement and performance optimization
• Experience working in an agile environment with an SDLC like Scrum SaFE etc.
• Experience participating in product release cycle including code reviews and defect triage.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure AWS).
• Experience with software development best practices like test-driven development.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on coding when required.

Good to have:

• knowledge of API development using C# & relational databases such as SQL Server.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures or microservices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of user-facing features using modern front-end technologies ( or equivalent).
• Lead the design architecture and implementation of front-end applications with a focus on and its ecosystem.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to front-end developers guiding them in best practices coding standards and design patterns.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure feasibility and deliver high-quality designs.
• Drive adoption of modern front-end frameworks tools and libraries to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Establish and enforce front-end best practices coding standards and architecture guidelines.
• Collaborate with Architects and Tech Lead to finalize implementation plan to refactor Azure IaaS/PaaS cloud services for high availability resiliency scalability security and optimal performance to meet service level objectives.
• Develop scalable maintainable and secure solutions that meet business and user requirements.
• Guide and mentor junior developers by conducting code reviews sharing best practices and providing technical support.
• Collaborate closely with product owners designers QA engineers to deliver high-quality features on time.
• Troubleshoot debug and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments.
• Write clean testable and efficient code and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Relentlessly document your implementation patterns practices and processes.
• Contribute to improving development workflows CI/CD pipelines and overall team productivity.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to bring innovative ideas to the team.
