Do you want to work for anorganization where people care about each other We are seeking an energeticpassionate Manager Advancement and Alumni Engagement to foster aculture of philanthropy within CCNM. Reporting to the CFO this role consultswith institutional stakeholders to define the organizations advancement andphilanthropic mission and direction. The incumbent will provide vital input onadvancement and alumni engagement in strategic and operational planning andpositioning within the organization.

The Manager Advancement andAlumni Engagement will be responsible for:

  • Creating and executing CCNMs strategic fundraising plans for majorand planned gifts annual fund and giving alumni engagement program as wellas industry campaigns and sponsorship
  • Developing and monitoring relevant policies and standards
  • Planning and implementation of fundraising events projects andprograms that meet current and future financial objectives for CCNM
  • Building relationships both internally and externally that includesindustry partners donors employees and alumni
  • Consults with institutional stakeholders to define theorganizations advancement and philanthropic mission and direction.
  • Provides vital input onadvancement and alumni engagement in strategic and operational planning andpositioning within the organization
  • Planning coordinating and assuring implementation of strategies todevelop donors and contributions that support CCNM as well as maintainsaccountability and compliance standards for donors and funding sources
  • Provides daily supervision to staff includingvolunteers and consultants by determining workloads and schedules

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree/diploma froman accredited university college or equivalent (corporate wellnessfundraising database management commerce business administration publicrelations non-profit management etc.)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in fundraisingand sponsor/donor management and event coordination
  • Proventrack record of securing philanthropic gifts
  • Demonstratedability and experience developing grant/program funding proposals togovernment foundations corporate and private funders.
  • Experience using a fundraising database (RaisersEdge)
  • CFREdesignation is an asset
  • Highly developed computer literacy in all range ofadministrative support programs such as MS Word Excel Power Point andAccess specifically with database management
  • Previoussales relationship management and negotiating experience
  • Excellentpublic speaking and presentation skills
  • Superiorresearch skills
  • Excellentinterpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate at alllevels orally and in writing and to network and developbusiness relationships
  • Exceptionalplanning project management Organizational time management and eventcoordination skills
  • Strongrelationship management skills focused on the cultivation and stewardship ofcurrent and prospective donors
