Under direction of a Clinical Coordinator the Per Diem Registered Nurse III will provide clinical support and direct or indirect nursing care to patients in Pediatrics NICU and PICU as needed; and to perform related work as required. The Per Diem Nurse is distinguished from the Registered Nurse classification in that Per Diem Nurses are scheduled to work on an as-needed basis (intermittent) to supplement staffing needs.

WHAT WE OFFER:
Per Diem Registered Nurse III is represented by the California Nurses Association (CNA) and is eligible for overtime compensation. Salary placement will be determined according to the current California Nurses Association (CNA) memorandum of agreement.
The eligible list established from this recruitment may be used to fill current and future Per Diem and Intermittent vacancies within the Pediatric Acute Care Unit. There is currently one (1) Per Diem vacancy.

EDUCATION TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
Requires at least five (5) years of experience working with Neonatal/Pediatric population. These employees may be appointed to work on specialized short-term projects such as hospital accreditation or on other projects that require specialized administrative duties and responsibilities.
