Job Summary

The Role:

Synechron is seeking a Technical Lead with project in Capital Risk Operation to join our team in New York NY (Need Onsite day 1 hybrid 3 days from office).

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Lead Engineer to join our Risk Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong Python programming skills extensive experience with AWS DevOps practices Kubernetes and EC2 and a solid background in data this role candidate will lead the development of risk-related solutions oversee technical teams and collaborate closely with stakeholders to enhance our risk management systems.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design development and deployment of scalable risk management data platforms and solutions.
Develop robust efficient Python code to support risk monitoring analytics and reporting functions.
Architect and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services particularly EC2 and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
Implement and optimize DevOps pipelines to ensure smooth CI/CD processes and infrastructure automation.
Provide technical leadership mentoring engineering team members to foster best practices and facilitate continuous improvement.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand risk operations requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure the security compliance and reliability of risk systems through best DevOps and architecture practices.
Stay current with emerging technologies in cloud data management and risk domain and recommend innovative approaches.
Possess or develop domain knowledge in areas such as Risk Technology Equities Capital Markets Fixed Income Trading and Regulatory environments (training provided if required).

Requirements:

Strong experience in Python programming with a track record of delivering production-grade solutions.
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud services especially EC2 S3 RDS and related tools.
Proven expertise in DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines infrastructure as code and automation.
Deep understanding of container orchestration using Kubernetes.
Solid knowledge of data platforms data pipelines and data management tools.
Demonstrated team leadership and mentorship capabilities.
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working within risk management finance or trading environments is a plus.
