DescriptionThe Process Engineer is responsible for providing troubleshooting process analyses optimization and improvement support to Irving Forest Services within the mill Technical and Operations groups.
Responsibilities- Lead mill investigations trials and improvement projects
- Analyze process trends interpreting data and proposing solutions.
- Work to improve process environmental and quality related initiatives.
- Responsible for continuous improvement opportunities.
- Communicate process changes all while adhering to and promoting safe work practices.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications- Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of Pulp & Paper industry experience is required
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Well-developed organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Interest in a variety of business functions such as Operations Finance Human Resources Technical Project Management and Safety
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Curiosity and persistence - you are a problem-solver with natural tendency to ask questions
- Strong focus on safety and process improvement
- Drive initiative teamwork
- Language required: English
