Job Summary:
The Transmission Analyst is responsible for supporting the capital project closeout process within the Transmission Engineering organization. This role involves ensuring that transmission capital projects are reconciled and properly closed after construction completion by researching variances performing reconciliations tracking project status and ensuring documentation compliance. The analyst will collaborate with various departments and contribute to process improvements.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the capital project closeout process.
- Research and resolve variances between project actuals and estimates.
- Perform reconciliation and closure of capital projects.
- Track and maintain project closeout status and generate reports.
- Ensure all documentation is complete accurate and compliant.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying gaps and recommending process enhancements.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Associate degree in a technical field with related work experience.
- Familiarity with transmission line design construction operation and maintenance.
- Working knowledge of materials equipment and costs associated with transmission line projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
- Prior experience managing power utility transmission capital projects.
- Experience in transmission line design and/or construction.
- Technical experience with TEAMS Maximo Vault and/or PowerPlan.
Special Considerations:
- This is not a Project Management or Project Controls role; it focuses on analytical reconciliation.
- Candidates must have working knowledge of transmission lines and strong problem-solving skills.
