Professional Liability Claims Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a seasoned Professional Liability Claims Manager to join the growing team and oversee a portfolio of complex professional liability claims.
Compensation:
- $170000 - $200000/year (depending on experience)

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required; JD or advanced degree preferred.
- 7 years of experience in Professional Liability claims (E&O D&O EPL or related).
- Prior management or team leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of litigation processes insurance coverage and claims resolution strategies.
- Excellent analytical negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to influence lead and develop high-performing claims professionals.
Job Description:
- Lead mentor and develop a team of professional liability claims adjusters.
- Oversee investigation coverage analysis and resolution of complex and high-exposure claims.
- Provide strategic direction and technical guidance on litigation management settlement negotiations and reserving practices.
- Collaborate with underwriting actuarial and risk management teams to provide claims insights and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Handle escalated claims and act as a technical subject matter expert in professional liability matters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insureds brokers outside counsel and internal stakeholders.
