Role Overview:
The engineer will design and analyze bridges and related structural systems for transportation projects ensuring safety durability and code compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop structural designs and calculations for bridges retaining walls and culverts.
Conduct load ratings and prepare design reports.
Review construction documents and perform field inspections.
Coordinate with transportation engineers contractors and agencies.
Ensure compliance with AASHTO DOT and local standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
5 years of bridge or structural transportation experience.
Proficiency with structural analysis tools (LEAP Bridge STAAD or similar).
Knowledge of AASHTO and DOT requirements.
