Job Summary
Sales Engineer
Our client is expanding into North America with the launch of a new office in Durham NC. As a founding member of this location the Sales Engineer will play a key role in technical engineering support and business development. Responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients by understanding technical needs and creating effective proposals.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support business development activities such as trade shows networking events and client meetings.
- Contribute to the establishment and growth of the Durham office as a founding team member.
- Inspect and provide guidance on deliverables to ensure quality and compliance.
- Prepare written communications including reports presentations and client correspondence.
- Accompany business trips within the U.S. to support customer engagement and development.
- Assist in developing new clients and expanding market presence.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Structural Engineering or a related field
- 10 years of experience in aerospace engineering preferred
- Leadership experience preferred
- Experience working directly with customers
