| Position Summary: | The Center for Catholic Education Administrative Assistant serves to provide administrative support to CCE staff and program members. This position is responsible for providing support to the financial operations of all programs and special project budgets and their Purchasing card usage including the maintenance and reconciliation of program and project expenses. The incumbent will assist with all facets of CCE event/program planning promotion and implementation including database maintenance. The incumbent serves to assist CCE staff and program members through an understanding of department and organizational operations and procedures. The Center for Catholic Education at the University of Dayton founded in 1996 promotes researches enhances energizes and supports Catholic schools. We are a nationally recognized leader in Catholic K-12 education. We provide educators with programs and services that enhance the Churchs mission and foster excellence in Catholic schools. Our featured programs and initiatives include ECHO (Empowering Children with Hope and Opportunity) Lalanne and Saint Remy Initiative. |

| Minimum Qualifications: | High school graduate. 3 or more years of administrative assistant experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite. Ability to work independently and prioritize a variety of tasks. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to coordinate activities involving high levels of complexity and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. | Preferred Qualifications: | While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications the ideal candidate will bring many of the following: Experience in creating and maintaining spreadsheets and ability to understand and summarize financial information. Working knowledge of university systems and structure especially purchasing processes and reports retrieving database. Demonstrated ability to utilize research writing and process improvement skills. Ability to build good working relationships with students faculty staff and outside contacts (Diocese Catholic schools donors board members and distinguished speakers). Knowledge of Catholic schools structure and faith based culture. Knowledge of and sensitivity to a Catholic Marianist work environment. |
