We are looking for aWarranty Administratorto join our team at Performance Auto Group Muskoka Region in beautiful Huntsville Ontario. The Warranty Administrator is responsible for administering processing and authorizing warranty claims to the distributor and reconciles them accordingly. They also provide support to the Service department with warranty administration activities and assist with customer inquiries.


Heres what youll deliver:

  • Process and submit warranty claims in a timely manner for Huntsville Dodge Huntsville Honda and Hyundai of Muskoka.

  • Complete all documentation required to process the claims.

  • Process warranty claims to manufacturers for payment.

  • Follow up on claims to obtain prompt payment.

  • Close out all warranty work orders on a daily basis.

  • Make up and submit all warranty claims and extended warranty claims reconcile the credit memos from these sources and post credit memos into accounting.

  • Weekly reports sent out to Managers for outstanding claims.

  • Tracks warranty parts by tagging them with repair order number date of replacement and date on which part may be disposed of.

  • Follow up on any outstanding warranty claims to keep receivables current.

  • Stay up-to-date on all new technical bulletins and recall circulars.

  • Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.

  • Backup Reception answering phone calls and assisting visitors as required

  • Backup for the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) process

  • Backupfor phone coverage in the Business Development Centre as needed

  • Comply with all company policies standards and procedures.

  • Other duties as required by management.

What do you need to succeed

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

  • Minimum 1 year of automotive service experience preferred.

  • Must have valid Class G or G2 Ontario drivers license and clean drivers abstract.

  • PBS software experience is an asset.

  • Ability to exhibit professionalism with a positive attitude under pressure.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Able to deal with people sensitively tactfully diplomatically and professionally at all times.

  • Proven data entry data editing and typing skills.

  • Experience in all aspects of customer service and people management.

  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.

  • Ability to perform in a changing environment and meet deadlines in a timely manner.

  • Ability to exhibit professionalism with a positive attitude under pressure.

  • Must be willing to be flexible with work schedules.
