A well-established professional services firm with an international footprint is looking for a Company Secretarial Officer to join their dynamic team. Were looking for a Company Secretarial Officer to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to manage a portfolio of clients and ensure they remain fully compliant with company secretarial statutory requirements.
What youll be doing:
- Managing client portfolios and attending to statutory compliance
- Handling registrations amendments deregistrations and reinstatements with regulatory bodies
- Preparing and implementing documentation for
- Director and auditor changes.
- Amendments to MOIs share capital changes and conversions
- Share allotments transfers and buybacks
- Dividend declarations and annual returns.
- Maintaining and updating company registers statutory files and beneficial ownership records
- Drafting resolutions minutes and confirmation letters
- Liaising with clients management and regulators
What were looking for:
- Matric essential with a relevant qualification in Company Secretarial (CGISA or equivalent) completed or in progress
- 46 years experience in a similar role within an accounting audit or legal firm
- Strong knowledge of the Companies Act Close Corporations Act and statutory compliance processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (cosec software experience advantageous)
- Excellent attention to detail organisational ability and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
